Kaylee 5....Aubrey 3
Kaylee is now becoming my shy girl while Aubrey has become my wild one. It takes Kaylee a few minutes when she walks in to a room to size it up. Aubrey....she likes to walk in a room and own it. It's funny how their personalities are showing so much now. I know they are still little girls but I just can't believe how they are so big right now. Kaylee even has one of her first teeth coming in. Wasn't she just teething? Aubrey starts Pre-K in September while Kaylee will be going to Kindergarten. I miss my two little baby girls who loved to sleep on me while I rocked them. They are truly two of the sweetest little girls. They love to give hugs and kisses and are always telling me they love me. One of my favorite things that Kaylee says to me is that she picked me...she wanted me to be her mom. She makes me melt. They are just too cute for words and I think they are so cute that it is impossible for them to cause me any worries when they are teenagers!
Soccer Time
This Spring I decided to sign Kaylee up for Soccer. She and her cousin Carmen are so excited since they are on the same team. To my suprise she isn't shy at all. Soon as the ball is down she is running for it trying to get a goal. Watching her play makes me see just how big she is. She had her first game this Sunday and did great. She even scored a goal (Ok...so it might of been for the other team but who cares) Then she asked to be goalie and did awesome. She was too cute. I think as soon as she gets used to all that running and it is a lot of running she will love every second of it. We are all so very proud of her. I also have to give a shout out to my nephew Carmen who scored EVERY goal for our team. It is going to be a fun season.
Bunk Beds
No way was our first thought when we were thinking if we should give the girls bunk beds. Soon as we saw how much room they had in their room without them we new it was our only other option. They LOVE them. I think since they started to share a room they have somehow become closer. Of course we need to ask them to stop talking 100 times at bedtime but what else could we expect. They love to sit on the top bunk and love showing their bed off to their cousins. I just asked them when we go to our new home would they like to share a room or have their own bedrooms again and to my surprise at the very same time they said SHARE! It brings me back to the days when I shared with both of my sisters and I remember loving it.

Miss Rosie
Ever since Kaylee was 5 months old I would walk her to the WaWa. Miss Rosie was the coffee lady who would love to talk to Kaylee. That first year I had an endless supply of WaWa cups and a new friend. Mostly everyday we would stop in and see her. She loves my girls. She has been to the girls parties and even gets them little gifts just because she was thinking of them. Since our move we have already been to visit her twice. I can honestly say it was harder to leave Miss Rosie than it was to leave my house.
SOLD!
As many of you know we have recently sold our house. Which is one of the reasons why it has taken me so long to post something. I was initially so excited to move closer to my family and the girls would be so close to their cousins. What I wasn't expecting was it to be so hard for me to leave our first home. I have endless memories that will be in my heart forever. This is the first home with my husband. Jeff proposed to me right in our old kitchen before it was redone. My water broke both times in my home. I brought both of our children home to that house. Kaylee with her own little nursery and Aubrey to the kitchen to live with me and Jeff in there while her daddy built us our beautiful home and her first nursery. The girls learned how to walk and crawl there. They became the beautiful, smart little girls they are today in our home. I am very happy with our decision to move. I am back in my old home town. There is a comfort in that itself. The girls have moved without a blink of an eye. They are so busy seeing their cousins and Aunts and Uncle and Pop And Gamma on a daily basis. I look forward to our new home and all the memories we will have in there but the ones of the early days will never be forgotten.

Mini Mani's
With one of our visits to Auntie Lucille's she noticed that the girls could use a manicure. So the next day after a fun little shopping trip she treated the girls to one. Aubrey picked out her very favorite pink and Kaylee picked out the brightest red she could find just like her Uncle Carmen suggested to her. (Thanks) The girls always sit so nice during the manicure but at the end insist that their nails are dry the second they are finished being painted. Thanks for a fun day Auntie Lucille.
Sleepover!
Kaylee and Aubrey are always asking for someone to sleepover or asking whose house they can sleep at. One night we had both Gaten and Carmen spend the night. They were all so excited and played like crazy. Then when it was finally time for bed they all had to sleep together. It wasn't long till they started to come out one by one saying what the other was doing. By the end of it all my two were the ones still up.
Muscles!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jeff thought it would be funny if we wore our old High School jackets to my niece Nicolette's cheerleading competion. And funny it was. It was definately weird to be walking around my old high school with my jacket on again. Also watching my 17 year old neice compete in the same gym that I had cheered in for so many years just made me feel really old. Great news though..they came in 1st.

First Time Sledding
With all that snow we recently had what else were we supposed to do...go sledding. This was the first year the girls went. Not to much surprise they loved it. Kaylee was happy and anxious to go down the hill and mostly alone. Aubrey was excited but had to ride this one sled and with her daddy. Daddy did "forget" to jump on the sled one time and Aubrey let us know she was not too happy about that. After 3 hours and a ton of fun with their cousins we decided to pack up and head over to Pop's for some dinner. It was a great day.

80's Night
I took my turn with hosting a Friday night get together with my sister and some friends. We decided to make it a theme night to honor my first night. If you can't tell from the pics it was 80's Night. We had a blast!!! I love that my 17 year old niece even got in on the fun and fit right in with the era that she wasn't even born in. Even funnier that the style of the 80's seem to be back since it was so easy to find the leg warmers.

Happy Thanksgiving
Happy Thanksgiving!!! This year was the second year I hosted Thanksgiving. I really love this holiday since it is the kick off the season. This year Jeff tried out his new toy...a Deep Turkey Fryer. Turns out that is so good my day no longer wants to cook one in the oven. So much for the great smell of a roasting turkey. I hope everyone had as good of a day as I did. I am very thankful to have the family that I do and the endless amounts of love that come along with that.
