First Beach Day

Today we took our first trip to the beach. And to my surprise it wasn't as hard as I imagined. I was actually able to sit down for awhile this year. (Just long enough to give myself a slight crispy look) Aubrey enjoyed playing in the sand more than running around crazy and Kaylee was very good about staying close and actually listening. They were so good that we ended up staying for over 5 hours. Hopefully I will get a few extra minutes of sleep out of them in the morning.

Party at Uncle Carmen and Uncle Bart's

Over the weekend we all got to spend a beautiful day over at Uncle Carmen and Bart's. It was our first BBQ there in quite a few years. We swam in the lake all day even when it rained. The kids had a blast and so did the adults. (Thanks for the drinks Uncle Bart) After dinner the kids enjoyed their cupcakes and a movie while the parents rested up. I am definitely looking forward to a couple more days on the lake this summer.

The Claxtons

Last week I got one of the best surprises ever...one of my oldest and best friends surprised me at work. I was standing at a table taking an order and I looked outside and thought she really looks like Sarah. Then I looked back up and thought wow that really looks alot like Mark and their kids too and then quickly realized it was. We all had a blast together. Fantasy Island, Pizza, Ice Cream parlor and the park. You would of thought I was on vacation with them because the amount of pics I took and the amount of pounds that I gained. It was worth it because I don't get to spend alot of time with Sarah and it truly was a great time! I hope you enjoy all the pics.
