Happy 4th Of July

After a fun BBQ at our house we all took a trip to see the fireworks at Atlantic City. We ended up parking on the side of the road and piling up in the back of Jeff's truck to watch them in the distance. It was a great day and night. This was also a great day for Kaylee since she learned how to swim under water without any swimmies or holding her nose. By the end of the day she was jumping in and going under. I have to say...as excited as she was to be doing this I was just as scared. When did she get so big?

My Swimmin Beauties!

Ice Cream WIth Ariel

If you read this blog at all you all know that in the Summer we always go for Ice cream with the Characters and then to the park...well this summer is no different and we were all so excited that this years first character was Ariel. Actually it was Aubrey who was the most excited. I couldn't get her away from Ariel! She was non stop dancing with her and the crowd of people. She had a never ending smile on her face and would not even stop dancing long enough to go get her ice cream. It is so great to watch her have so much fun. Just makes me think that I really need to get to Disney!

Beach Day #1

It's official....Summertime is here. I took my first trip to the beach last week not too sure what to expect and it was perfect. Kaylee and her cousins enjoyed everything the beach has to offer from sitting in the waves to being buried in the sand...everything we used to do ourselves. Aubrey just enjoyed sitting at the blanket and snacking on all the fruit and me carrying her in the water. Hopefully she will be going in the water as much as her sister does. As you can see they were wiped out for the ride home.

CHOO CHOO!

We took advantage of the Train Station being right down the street and took a trip to Atlantic City. The girls were so excited to be on the Train. We did some shopping and stopped for lunch at the Applebees.

Fishing WIth Daddy

The girls got their very first Princess fishing poles. They were so excited. When we took them fishing I don't think they knew what to expect. Within seconds of Kaylee's pole being in the water she caught one! As she reeled it in and then noticed the actual fish on the other end of it she started screaming and asking for help. It was so funny. Aubrey caught one with seconds too and couldn't care less. Aubrey caught one more and called it a day but Kaylee hung in there for awhile catching quite a few. We are looking forward to fishing at our Uncle's Lake this summer.

The List

Kaylee has started to write out "Lists" of things that we should do. Recently I had her write one of everything we should do one day before I had to leave for work. Lets just say that I was exhausted by time we were finished. We even added 2 extra things to the list during the day. We rode bikes, painted our flip flop towel holders, made icecream went swimming and the 2 add ons were fishing and the park. What fun!

School Is Out

On June 23rd Kaylee finished her first full year of Pre-K 3. At first I wasn't too sure about sending her to a full day of school so early but I am so happy that I did. There were never days when she didn't want to go. I quickly signed up for Head Room Mom and enjoyed her school just as much as she did. She has grown so much and suprised me with just how much she can do. I am so very proud of her. Here is her first day of school pic and her last day of school. Also click on the link to see a slideshow of some of her school days.

Bowling With Daddy

This year for Father's Day we went bowling. The girls have been asking to go and we all had so much fun. We ordered pizza and fries and bowled away. I am embarrassed to say that even with the bumpers up the girls beat me. Kaylee was doing it all by herself..she was running with the ball and throwing it down. Aubrey had a little help but did great on her own. We are looking forward to doing it again.

Dance Recital

After working hard all year and endless times asking me "when can I go on stage mom?" Kaylee finally had her dance recital. She did her dance to "Anything you can do I can do better". Such a fitting song for a bunch of 4 year olds. She was so excited and did such a great job. I'm having trouble posting the video but you can check it out on my facebook page.

Fun Days

My Gymnast

Aubrey is turning in to quite the little gymnast these days. She absolutely loves going to her classes. When she gets there she quickly takes her shoes off and actually sits on the bench inside the gym waiting for them to call her name. It's funny because there she seems to listen so well...home it's another thing. I can't help myself but to smile or laugh watching her because she is truly having a blast. She recently had a gym show with Kaylee and I will be posting some pics from that soon as I get them.

Memorial Day Weekend

Happy Late Memorial Day! This year we had the BBQ at our house and it was so worth it. The girls were so excited to have everyone come over. It was also the first day we all broke in the pool. I got to test the waters out thanks to my wonderful husband who threw me in. To avoid being thrown in himself Jeff decided to see if he could "swing" himself into the pool. For his first try I don't think he did too bad.

So Beautiful!!!!!!!!!

Me And My Aubrey

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Jeff has finally caught up to me in age! We had a hoopla of a celebration for Jeff's big day. The way I was partying you would of thought it was my birthday or maybe even just a Friday night. Family and friends all came over to celebrate and every single one of us had a BLAST! I think Aubrey was the last one standing.
