Dance Recital

After working hard all year and endless times asking me "when can I go on stage mom?" Kaylee finally had her dance recital. She did her dance to "Anything you can do I can do better". Such a fitting song for a bunch of 4 year olds. She was so excited and did such a great job. I'm having trouble posting the video but you can check it out on my facebook page.

Fun Days

My Gymnast

Aubrey is turning in to quite the little gymnast these days. She absolutely loves going to her classes. When she gets there she quickly takes her shoes off and actually sits on the bench inside the gym waiting for them to call her name. It's funny because there she seems to listen so well...home it's another thing. I can't help myself but to smile or laugh watching her because she is truly having a blast. She recently had a gym show with Kaylee and I will be posting some pics from that soon as I get them.

Memorial Day Weekend

Happy Late Memorial Day! This year we had the BBQ at our house and it was so worth it. The girls were so excited to have everyone come over. It was also the first day we all broke in the pool. I got to test the waters out thanks to my wonderful husband who threw me in. To avoid being thrown in himself Jeff decided to see if he could "swing" himself into the pool. For his first try I don't think he did too bad.

So Beautiful!!!!!!!!!

Me And My Aubrey

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Jeff has finally caught up to me in age! We had a hoopla of a celebration for Jeff's big day. The way I was partying you would of thought it was my birthday or maybe even just a Friday night. Family and friends all came over to celebrate and every single one of us had a BLAST! I think Aubrey was the last one standing.

Beer Can Chicken

Has anyone else ever tried to cook a chicken with a beer can in it? Any tips would be appreciated.

Class Trip To The Popcorn Zoo

I went on my first field trip in many many years. Kaylee's class went to the Popcorn Park Zoo and I was picked to go with them. It was a great time. The rain was coming down and the only people who seemed to mind was the adults! I think my favorite part of the trip was getting to ride on the school bus with Kaylee.

Getting Ready For The Summer

Kaylee recently had a break from school so we decided to visit Uncle Carmen and Uncle Bart at the Lake. Even though we couldn't go swimming we still had fun. We took a long walk around the whole lake. When we woke up in the morning Kaylee just looked out the window and said, "Is it summertime yet?"

Easter Pics

I know...Easter has come and gone and I am just now putting pics up. Sorry for the delay but it has been crazy these days. Kaylee was super excited to see the Easter Bunny. Aubrey was excited to see him from a distance until daddy helped her go by him. Once she got on his lap she didn't move a single bit. This year we celebrated Easter at our house. The kids had a Easter Egg Hunt and the adults had a head stand competition. Congrats to Auntie Rosanne for winning! After all that excitement the Ice Cream man decided to drive by. I thought he was going to keep on going after he saw atleast 15 people running his way! That was probably the best sale that he got all day.

Father Daughter Dance

Kaylee has attended her very first school dance. Even better her father was her date. Kaylee was looking forward to this dance so much and she kept saying the Father Doodle dance. She was so excited to go and wear a Spring Dress which happened to be a halter one. When her daddy was telling her how beautiful she looked she turned around picked her hair up and said, "Dad look at my back". If only Jeff could be her date for every dance.

I See London I See France I See Aubrey's Underpants!

After 4 1/2 years of changing diapers I am finally done!!! My big girl Aubrey has now been in underwear for over a week. She loves to pick between her Dora or Elmo undies and I just love seeing her little toosh in the underwear. The excitement in her face when she goes is just so cute. Kaylee is also very excited for sister too. She cheers and lets everyone know how big her little sister is.

Aubrey 2 Kaylee 4

I can't believe how big my girls have gotten. Aubrey has now grown into Kaylee and Kaylee has become such a big little girl. (If that makes any sense) Aubrey is full of chit chat these days. She has a little bit more of the two year old attitude than her sister had. Kaylee was a runner, Aubrey is a fighter! But even through the crazy times she has such a way about her that can turn me into a puddle of mush. Kaylee has now been in school for 6 months . She loves it more everyday. She can now write her name and her alphabet. She loves to draw me great pictures in class and has such an eagerness to learn. I am just so proud of her and love how she says she loves me "One hundred fifty two thousand and twelve". I live for the I Love You's and the all the hugs these two beautiful girls give me everyday. And no matter how many they give me it never seems enough and I always need just one more.

Playdate

Today was a great day. Aubrey's friends Collin, Coen, Claire and Keira came over to play. For 3 two year olds and 2 under one it was perfect! The kids all got along so great and enjoyed the day as much as the adults did. With no naps and a lot of playing I think they should all sleep well tonight!

Then And Now

A Day At The Zoo

With the great weather we had over the weekend we planned a trip to the Cape May Zoo. The girls were so excited. After a long walk through the Zoo we had a picnic and then played at the park before we left. It was a great day and hard to believe that it's been almost 2 years since we have been there. I will also post a pic of then so you can see how much they have grown.
