Gymnastics Class

Kaylee has been in her "Mommy and Me" gymnastics class for a year now. We go every Thursday and since Aubrey has been born Pop comes with us!! This is the perfect thing for Kaylee to do. She loves it. She gets to run around, jump on the trampoline, climb ladders and of course make me chase her. Pop laughs at me while he gets to sit down the whole time. Aubrey enjoys the class herself just checking everyone out.

Spring Is In The Air

This is such a great time of the year. You get beautiful days like today and it stays light out just a little bit longer everyday. I love being able to bring the girls outside to play. It is perfect for Kaylee who doesn't like any boundaries and Aubrey gets to explore every new thing around her. We went for long walks and played in the dirt just like every kid should. These are the days that make me look forward to the summer. The fun days of BBQ's and going to the beach.

4 Months Old

Aubrey went for her 4 month old visit last night. She is now 15 pounds and 24 inches long. She has almost doubled her birth weight and has grown 4 inches. The visit went great and the Doctor says that she is doing wonderful. The worst part of the visit was the 4 shots she had to get. She took them with no problem just a quick 5 second cry when they were all over. She is going to be one tough little girl!

Snow Day

What a fun day and night we all had this past Tuesday. Kaylee had so much fun her first time in the snow. She didn't want to go back inside at all. Her cheeks and nose were bright red by the time we got inside. Aubrey had fun inside with Pop. The higher she went the more she would smile. When it came time to leave the roads were so icy we had to stay at Auntie Rosanne's house. This was the first time Kaylee has slept away from home since she was born. It turned out great. She slept until 9 o'clock. Then she got to help her Uncle Pasquale at the Pizzeria the next day. She had so much fun we will have to try sleeping out again sometime.

Lunchtime

Aubrey started her rice cereal this week. I am sure you can see it didn't start off so good but by the last spoonful she loved it. She had her mouth open wide and screaming for more. We knew it was time to start the food with her because she would stare at all of us while we were eating. This is such an exciting time for me. I can't wait to try all the new foods with Aubrey and I am looking forward to seeing more of these great faces.

My girls

It is weird to think that one day Kaylee and Aubrey will be looking at these same pictures asking me about when they were young! It is a new adventure with them everyday so I am sure the stories will be endless. I will get to tell them how I couldn't get enough of them.(Even after a night of no sleep.) How I think they are the most beautiful girls in the world and how I can't believe that two little people could make someone laugh so hard one day but the next make them cry. And at the end of each story I will get to them how much I love being their mother!

A Day With Friends

Today was a fun day for me and the girls. Aubrey met her first friend Claire, Kaylee got to run around like her usual self and I got to see my friend Corey for the first time since both of our daughters were born. We had more fun than the kids. We enjoyed dressing them up the same and popping in the funny teeth. Kaylee enjoyed hers so much I couldn't take them out. I hope that Aubrey and Claire have as much fun together as me and her mother do. It was a short visit but tiring for some because Kaylee and George were asleep in minutes on the way home.

Almost Sitting up

Aubrey is well on her way to sitting up. I can't believe it. She can now grab at her feet and then stare at the pictures on her p.j.'s. She gets bigger everyday. She even tries to get in on the conversations. Her voice is so loud coming out of that little body. I love seeing her discover new things everyday. Doesn't she look like one of them garden statues?

It's that time!!!

Kaylee has decided that it was time to stop wearing diapers. She has now been going on the potty for a full week. She is basically potty training herself. Which is good because I don't know where I could find the extra time. So besides being lucky enough to not have to change extra diapers I get to see this cute butt running around the house all day.

Swing Time

It is funny to see this swing around again. What's even funnier is that it still looks like it is Kaylee sitting in there. Aubrey loved when I put her in the swing this morning. She even stayed up and extra hour just to look around at the new toys hanging around her. Her curiosity about everything never ends. I try to keep her moving as much as possible so she doesn't get bored. She is such a great baby. Always smiling.

Double Trouble

These two girls together will be causing lots of trouble. Kaylee and Adriana are only a month apart. They love to play together and dance to the Wiggles and Doodlebops. If you notice it looks like they are getting ready for a night out on the town. Check out the shoes!

How peaceful she sleeps

Aubrey was so excited to see everyone around she stayed up longer than usual. She ended up sleeping through all the fun outside. I think she just might be saving all her energy for the days she starts running around. When she was awake she just enjoyed being passed around by her Aunt's and Uncle. Always making sure that she could see me. It's hard to believe that by the summer she will be crawling and learning how to walk and not taking so many of these naps.

A Day At Auntie Rosannes

Today like most days we visited with Auntie Rosanne. Today was extra special though because all of Kaylee and Aubreys cousins were there. All of the kids were excited to play outside together. Kaylee went for a ride in the wagon with her cousin Gate. She also loves the slide and I finally let her go down it by herself.

The Good Mornings

I love when she wakes up happy. I know what the day is going to be like just by the way she wakes up. This is going to be a great day. My sister told me that you should figure out what the wrong side of the bed is and put that side up against the wall!

3 1/2 months

I can't believe how big Aubrey is getting!!! She loves her new to her toy the "Excersaucer" that her sister has passed down to her. Kaylee loved this toy and so do I. She gets so excited about all the toys around her and goes cross-eyed trying to look at everything. (Is it bad that I think that is funny?) She tries to grab at her feet all the time. Loves to "talk" to anyone who will listen and always has a smile for her mom, dad and sister Kaylee. She stays up for most of the day now which is okay because she sleeps from 9:30 at night til 7:30 in the morning. Sorry Corey.

Just a taste

Just one taste please!!! This is a perfect picture to define some of childhood don't you think? Just so curious about everything. Kaylee has to be in everything. Can't let one thing pass by her without her noticing it. She definitely keeps us on our toes!

playtime

Smiles, smiles, smiles all day long. Aubrey is now 3 months old. She loves to play with her toys. She kicks the balls, watches her mobiles and just loves to smile and laugh at anyone talking to her especially her sister Kaylee. We can't believe how big she has gotten already!

bathtime

Wish I could say Aubrey loves getting in the tub but I can't. She needs to be soothed into it. Alot of soft happy talk to try and keep her happy. She does love to get out though!! I can't wait till the days I can give them one together.

Greetings Earthlings

This is everyday play for Kaylee. She thinks her shopping basket is actually a hat!!! When she gets tough during the day she will do something silly like this and it makes it all worth it.

Here comes naked Claus

Christmas came and went for Aubrey with no difference to her. Of course she was good for her first 2 months for Santa. We did realize that not even a newborn can sleep through the noise at my family's house. I had to rock her in the pantry where it was most quiet!!
