Beautiful Fantasy Island

Our Friend Baby Coen celebrated his first birthday party at Fantasy Island. The girls had so much fun and I had Gamma come along for the day to help me out. It was a huge success and the girls went on every ride that they could fit in. I heard so many times the Aubrey's belly hurt and just one more ride please. It was a blast.

Dora and Diego

The girls were super excited to see Dora and Diego at the Ice Cream Parlor. They just couldn't understand why they would not come out together. Dora was on for an hour then Diego came out. There was also a special appearance by Ariel again this week. I love to watch the girls faces as they see the characters. It is genuine excitement!

Haircuts

After all the crying and screaming..yes screaming when I would brush Kaylee's beautiful long hair she decided she wanted to cut it like Snow White's hair. She handled it much better than I did. I had to turn away for a second while she couldn't stop smiling. I have to say that it looks very cute and she and Aubrey love showing off their beautiful haircuts as they say.

More Beach Days

The Boogie Board

Kaylee has become quite the little surfer. She loves her boogie board and does not want to come off of it. She rides the waves all day long.

Story Book Land

I never realized just how much fun Story Book Land is. I remember going there on my very first school trip with my mom. We took Kaylee once when she was tiny. I think we have found the perfect ages to go. The girls loved it. It is filled with all your favorite nursery rhyme's, princesses, petting zoo and rides. The weather is perfect and good times are to be had. I did find out that Aubrey is not too sure about the rides since everytime she would get off of one she would say "My belly hurts"

Ahhhhh The Lake

We finally had our first trip to the Lake house this year. It was as perfect as always. There have been 2 new additions to the house this year....a motorized paddle boat and a canoe. Woohoo! Aubrey couldn't wait to get in the water and kept asking me to move off the ladder because it was her turn. Kaylee was in before any of us. These are the days that I will remember the most.

Beach Bums

The Beach has been a huge part of our summer this year. The girls LOVE it. I love that Aubrey even likes to take naps at the beach. Aubrey is my sandcastle builder and Kaylee is my waterbug. Kaylee loves to sit at the end of the water and let the waves hit her. By the end of the day her only complaint is that her hiney hurts! :)

Happy 4th Of July

After a fun BBQ at our house we all took a trip to see the fireworks at Atlantic City. We ended up parking on the side of the road and piling up in the back of Jeff's truck to watch them in the distance. It was a great day and night. This was also a great day for Kaylee since she learned how to swim under water without any swimmies or holding her nose. By the end of the day she was jumping in and going under. I have to say...as excited as she was to be doing this I was just as scared. When did she get so big?

My Swimmin Beauties!

Ice Cream WIth Ariel

If you read this blog at all you all know that in the Summer we always go for Ice cream with the Characters and then to the park...well this summer is no different and we were all so excited that this years first character was Ariel. Actually it was Aubrey who was the most excited. I couldn't get her away from Ariel! She was non stop dancing with her and the crowd of people. She had a never ending smile on her face and would not even stop dancing long enough to go get her ice cream. It is so great to watch her have so much fun. Just makes me think that I really need to get to Disney!

Beach Day #1

It's official....Summertime is here. I took my first trip to the beach last week not too sure what to expect and it was perfect. Kaylee and her cousins enjoyed everything the beach has to offer from sitting in the waves to being buried in the sand...everything we used to do ourselves. Aubrey just enjoyed sitting at the blanket and snacking on all the fruit and me carrying her in the water. Hopefully she will be going in the water as much as her sister does. As you can see they were wiped out for the ride home.

CHOO CHOO!

We took advantage of the Train Station being right down the street and took a trip to Atlantic City. The girls were so excited to be on the Train. We did some shopping and stopped for lunch at the Applebees.

Fishing WIth Daddy

The girls got their very first Princess fishing poles. They were so excited. When we took them fishing I don't think they knew what to expect. Within seconds of Kaylee's pole being in the water she caught one! As she reeled it in and then noticed the actual fish on the other end of it she started screaming and asking for help. It was so funny. Aubrey caught one with seconds too and couldn't care less. Aubrey caught one more and called it a day but Kaylee hung in there for awhile catching quite a few. We are looking forward to fishing at our Uncle's Lake this summer.

The List

Kaylee has started to write out "Lists" of things that we should do. Recently I had her write one of everything we should do one day before I had to leave for work. Lets just say that I was exhausted by time we were finished. We even added 2 extra things to the list during the day. We rode bikes, painted our flip flop towel holders, made icecream went swimming and the 2 add ons were fishing and the park. What fun!
