Shake Your Booty Claire

Aubrey got to go play with her friends Claire and Keira. Rather than tell you how much fun they had together I am just going to show you. Click on the link and enjoy.
I was only going to visit for an hour but it turned into a 2 1/2 hour stay but so worth it because Keira who has hit her 10 pound mark snuggled on to me for a nap after I fed her and I loved every second of it.

The Pumpkin Festival

Over the weekend we all went to the Fall Pumpkin Festival. It was FREEZING! There were some jumpy rides, haunted hayride and an outside movie. By the end of the night Kaylee stood up and looked at me and said "Mom are we done watching movies yet?" Guess it was time to go and it wasn't a moment to soon.

South Of The Border

Here are some pics from the one of our quick stops.

Myrtle Beach

The night of Aubrey's Birthday we all left for Myrtle Beach. (Which is why it took so long to post Birthday pics) My mother came along to help out with the girls and to babysit while we went to a wedding. One of my oldest and dearest friends was married. Congrats to Tara and Todd. We had a BLAST and it was so great to see you all again. Jeff keeps filling me in on how much fun I apparently had at the wedding. Glad to hear that I could be part of the entertainment. To all of our surprise the girls were great even for the car ride there and back. And we all learned that Aubrey can say Gamma atleast 3000 times.

Happy Birthday Aubrey!!!!!

Can you believe that my little girl has just turned 2! In the past 2 years she has taken on the nickname "Freshy" if that will tell you anything about her. I do love to get kisses from her because she has one of the best kissing faces I have seen. We had a small Elmo Birthday and then went to play at the park. Happy Birthday my sweet baby girl. I love you!

The Weekends

With Kaylee at school all week I try to pack as many fun things into the weekend as I can. This past weekend was a busy one. We started it off by decorating for Halloween and making some cupcakes. We also had a small picnic with our lunch because the weather was so great. Sunday, we went to the "Chowderfest" on LBI. The girls had so much fun. There were clowns, face painting and all the chowder you could eat. After that we did some shopping and had some pizza at Mommy's work went to the park and had ice cream. The girls were exhausted but I know that they had a fun weekend

Hangin' Tough

Once upon a time I was a 14 year old girl who loved the New Kids On The Block. I made my mother and sister sleep outside the Spectrum for 2 nights so we could get concert tickets. (Thanks again Mom) 4 concerts later I was obsessed. After chasing down many limos endless searches at hotels which my sister Tracie ended up getting grounded for I never did meet them...UNTIL LAST NIGHT!!!!!!!!! There they were the New Kids right in front of me and my sister. I was hugging Joey Joe then Jonathon and Danny. Tracie had Donnie's arms around her. I had Joey ask me to the prom only to turn him down. It was all I could do to not let the 14 year old out and start screaming. So after all that we went on to see my 5th NKOTB concert. Yes, that's right 5. It was an absolute BLAST and a night that I won't forget.

But I Like School Mom

Kaylee has now been in school for 2 full weeks. On the way home tonight when I told her she doesn't have any school tomorrow she just looked at me and said, "But I like school mom". So I think that is all I have to say about how she is doing so far.

Playdate

I think Aubrey might be enjoying her sister at school these days. Miss Beth invited us over to visit her friends Collin and Coen. The two got along so great and even shared a kiss without anyone telling them to. After a long morning of playing in the tunnel, lunch, reading books in the bedroom and a long walk Aubrey was exhausted and it was time to pick Kaylee up from school. We can't wait to do it again.

The Playdate

Aubrey started her very first day of gymnastics with mommy today. It was fun to do something with her like I used to do with Kaylee. We even have our friends Miss Beth, Collin and his little brother Coen to play with us each week. I can't wait to keep you all updated on how well Aubrey does.

Claire and Keira

With Kaylee off at school all day Aubrey and I had a chance to visit with our friends Corey, Claire Bear and meet for the first time Baby Keira. The girls played together so nicely and turns out it was a very relaxing day with 2 almost 2 year olds and a newborn baby.

A Is For Apple

I can't believe it. Kaylee is now a Pre-Schooler. I am so proud of her. She hasn't shed one tear and has happily walked or should I say ran on the bus. I miss her very much during the day and think that she is adjusting better than me. She told me tonight that she is happy at school and wants me to be happy for her too. So how can I argue with that?

Her first official day is on Monday so I will keep you all posted. I have to say that Kaylee did great today Mommy, not so good!

Catching A Few More Summer Days

We ended up having a unexpected party at Auntie Rosies house this week and it was a blast. The kids were out all day and when they left they looked just like kids should...covered from head to toe with dirt and cookie crumbs all over their faces. Thanks Auntie Rosie.

First Day

Congratulations to Adriana for starting her Pre-School and loving it. She has already made some new girlfriends and even told her mother that she was supposed to leave her. Kaylee is right behind her and can't wait to start herself. I can't believe that these little girls are starting this great new beginning. Wasn't it just the other day when they were born?
