The Park

After our Monday night ritual at the Ice Cream Parlor we all like to go the park. Even though it is dark and no light are on the kids as well as the adults all have a great time.

Keira Is Home

I have been posting on my friend Corey's daughter Keira Leigh who was born at 26 weeks of pregnancy. And I am so happy to let you all know that she was brought home from the hospital on her due date July 29th. Keira is doing so well at home and has already hit the 6 pound mark. I hear that she is already an overachiever as her mother likes to say. I will be sure to keep you all updated on this beautiful little girl and her sister Claire Bear.

Baby Coen

On our Monday night Ice Cream trip we had 3 special guests. Elmo, Cookie Monster and Coen Edward Markoski. He was just born 2 weeks ago and out on his first family outing. Initially his brother Collin had eyes for Aubrey but they are now drifting for her sister Kaylee. Maybe now Coen and Aubrey can be friends.

The Pool and BBQ'S

We have all been beating the heat out at my house on Thursdays for some fun time in the pool, barbeque and of course some frozen drinks.

Beach Days

I found out this summer that I have 2 true beach babies. Who would of thought that 2 would be easier than 1!

Back At The Lakehouse

This weekend Jeff and I decided to change our plans and take a trip back to my Uncle's Lake. The weather was great, food was delicious, kids were so good and the drinks were flowing. In true daddy style he went to the store for one thing and came out with something completely different. I have to say that I loved his choice.

If You Like Pina Colada's

Well, actually it was Margarita's and Yes, we love them. After a fun birthday with Amy we spent the next day visiting Uncle Carmen and Uncle Bart again with Daddy. The pitcher's kept coming and the lake was beautiful. I think that I have found my new weekend getaway for the summer.

Happy 1st Birthday Amy

Over the weekend we celebrated Amy's first birthday party. The party was a blast and the girls had the best time. From swimming to the pinata it was non-stop fun. And of course, I was able to really enjoy myself because I got to spend time with the Claxton's. One of my very favorite family's.

Beach Day #2

Usually I will get one good day to one bad day but I seemed to have gotten lucky. I took the girls to the beach over the weekend with Miss Nikki and it was a blast. The girls were so good and had the best time. We couldn't of asked for a better day with them.

Movies and Manicures

I decided to take Kaylee and my niece to the movies one morning and we all had a great time. This was Kaylee's first trip and Adriana is and old pro at going to the movies. Afterward I surprised them with mini Mani-Pedi's. The girls loved getting them. Again, Kaylee's first manicure and I lost count on how many Adriana has had. I look forward to going for the touch ups.

Playdate

Today the girls had a visit from their friend Claire. Which means I got to visit with my friend Miss Corey. It's been a little while since we have all gotten together and the girls didn't seem to skip a beat. It was a great morning. They all played so nice together without any fights, hits or anyone saying the word "MINE". In fact, they played so great together the only time we could get any group photo was when they were eating lunch or snacking on brownies. And on another great note I have mentioned before that my friend Corey had her daughter Keira at 27 weeks of pregnancy well now Keira is 10 weeks old, 4 lbs and 7 ounces, cuter than ever and doing wonderfully. We can't wait for Keira to come visit us with her sister Claire one day. Until then please keep her in your prayers so she can get home quickly to her family who is so patiently waiting for her.
