Special Occasions

I know it's been awhile but we have all been so busy. We had two very special occasions this past weekend. First we celebrated our great friend Claire Bear's first Birthday and after that crazy day we celebrated the Christening of Amy Elizabeth. She is the daughter of one of my very best friends Sarah. I hope you all enjoy the pictures and I am sure you could tell what Kaylee's favorite part of each day was.

Corn Maze

Today we took a trip to the Pumpkin Patch with some friends of ours. It was a wonderful morning. We took a tractor ride go pick our pumpkins and then ran through a corn maze. There was also so many fun things set up for the kids to do. By the end of the morning Kaylee was still ready to go but Aubrey decided to catch a little nap on daddy. This was a great way to start enjoying the Fall season.

Happy Birthday Aubrey!!!!!

I can't believe that a year has gone by so quickly. It still feels like yesterday when the Dr. said, "It's a girl!!!!" Aubrey is such a happy little girl. Her smiles are endless and so is her energy. I find it very hard to keep up with such a curious little girl. She is usually chasing her sister. She is quick to dance if she likes the show on and loves to eat anything she can get her hands on. This year has been great watching Aubrey go through all of her firsts from lifting her head on her own to walking everywhere. Happy Birthday my sweet baby girl. Mommy loves you so much.

We're Havin' A Party!!!

Aubrey had her 1st Birthday party this weekend. It was such a great day. The kids all had a great time. They all painted pumpkins, jumped in the trampoline and even got tractor rides from Uncle Jeff. Aubrey had so much fun and was happy all her little friends were here to celebrate with her. She even got a special guest star appearance from her Uncle Carmen and Uncle Bart which made her very happy. Her official B-Day isn't until this week but she didn't seem to mind partying a few days early.

Day Trip

We have all been taking advantage of the great weather we have been having. We took The girls to Smithville last weekend to walk around and go in the Carousal and Train ride. They had a great time and Aubrey got a chance to walk around everywhere.

My Fixer Upper

When Daddy is working Aubrey is always willing to help me out around the house when something needs fixing. Maybe she will take after her Daddy!

Dancing School

Check out my little dancer. Kaylee started a dance class this week and she loves it. I just can't believe how big she is getting.

More Playdates

Aubrey had her second date today with her friend Collin. He is a few months younger but neither seemed to mind too much. Kaylee, Aubrey and Collin had such a great time. We went for a short walk and played with just about every toy inside. Yesterday we also had a playdate with our friend Claire Bear again. It was such a beautiful day we spent the whole time outside. The girls just like today were so good and as usual had so much fun with their friend Claire and Miss Corey.

Good Morning Everyone

Playdate

This week the girls had a playdate with their friend Claire. Kaylee just loves Claire and her mommy so much. She woke up bright and early asking where they were. The girls had such a great time playing together. And I don't know how it happened but at one point all three girls were taking a nap at the same time! I guess Corey and I just got lucky. It was a great afternoon and we are looking forward to getting together again soon. (Matching outfits compliments of Corey McQuaid)

After Aubrey found the booze and a long exhausting 5 days we left our trip 2 days early. To be honest we made it a lot longer than I thought we would. And believe it or not we are looking forward to next year. Just think Aubrey will be running around the boardwalk with the rest of them!

Rainy Days

With the rain coming all week long we decided on Ice Cream and the Arcade for all the kids. We all went for Ice Cream at the Sea Shell which as the place where my parents used to bring us when we were kids. It brought back so many great memories of our trips to Wildwood as kids. The next night we went to the arcade and at some point I had the girls and lost Jeff to one of the games. I guess the big kids like to play too.

Boardwalk

The rain didn't even stop us from going to the Boardwalk. After an hour the rides were closed down but luckily they gave us free bands for another day. We went again on our last day there and it was beautiful out. Kaylee is such a big girl now going from one ride to the other and going on by herself.

wildwood vacation

Last week the whole family (yes all 20 of us) went on our first Wildwood vacation. Even though it rained most of the trip we all had a good time. Hope you enjoy the pics.
